Welcome to Global Student Home (GSH)! These Terms & Conditions govern how your access and use our online platform. By using GSH website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms and rules outlines below, as well as our Privacy Policy, to ensure a safe and trustworthy experience for all users: Students, Landlords, and Migration Agents.
1. Platform Overview
Global Student Home (GSH) is a digital platform that connects Students seeking accommodation, Landlords offering properties and Migration Agents referring students. Also, it is important to note that GSH acts only as a referral and listing service. We are not landlords, leasing agents, or migration advisors.
2. Eligibility and Registration
You must be at least 18 years old to register and use our platform. By creating an account as Students, Landlords or Agents, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. GSH may accept or reject registrations at its discretion.
3. Users General Responsibility & Obligations
Use the platform lawfully and ethically. Do not circumvent commission agreement or bypass GSH. Avoid fraudulent, offensive or misleading content. Respect others privacy and data.
4. Students Responsibilities & Obligations
Student agrees to provide accurate personal and contact information. Student must follow the Landlord’s rules and tenancy agreements. Student must pay rent and bonds directly to the Landlord unless otherwise stated. Student must notify GSH of any property issue promptly.
5. Landlord Responsibilities & Obligations
Landlord must provide truthful property information and photos. Ensure compliance with local laws and safety standards. Landlords handle tenancy agreements, bonds, rent collection and maintenance. Landlords must respond promptly to student inquiries.
6. Agent Responsibilities & Obligations
Agents refer genuine students only. Ensure students consent to data sharing. Comply with professional standards. Agents do not collect fees outside agreed commissions.
7. Payment and Fees
Landlords and Agents pay commission/service fees per their signed contracts. Fees are invoiced electronically and must be paid on time. Late payments may incur interest as specified in the agreement. GSH may change fees with prior notice. All transactions are processed securely through our payment gateway. GSH may charge a platform service fee.
8. Cancellations and Disputes
Follow the relevant Landlord or Agent agreement for cancellations. Attempt to resolve disputes amicably. GSH may act as mediator but is not liable for outcomes. Tenancy disputes are subject to state tenancy laws.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including branding, text, and media, is the intellectual property of Global Student Home or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce or distribute materials without written consent. Uploading content grants GSH a non-exclusive license to display it.
10. Liability and Disclaimer
GSH provides referral and listing services only and does not guarantee the property quality, availability or tenancy dispute. Users indemnify GSH for claims arising from their use of the platform.
11. Termination
GSH reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to our platform at any time for breach of these terms or misuse of our services. Termination does not remove outstanding obligations or fees.
10. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
11. Changes to Terms
GSH may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
